Sika® Plastocrete® Plus

Waterproofing concrete/mortar admixture

A concrete / mortar admixture in liquid form that acts both as a plasticizer and waterproofing compound.

Sika® Plastocrete® Plus provides the following beneficial properties :
  • Improved workability without increased water content
  • Allows easier compaction leading to denser concrete and superior finish
  • Reduced shrinkage
  • Improved water tightness
  • Chloride free - does not attack reinforcement

Usage

Sika® Plastocrete® Plus is recommended for use in structural concrete such as:
  • Sloped Roof Slab
  • Flat Roof Slab
  • Beams
  • Columns
  • Slabs etc
Also used in:
  • Internal and external plaster of buildings etc.
  • Repair and renovation

12 months from date of production if stored properly in undamaged unopened, original sealed packaging.

Application Information

Compatibility

Sika® Plastocrete® Plus may be combined with many other Sika® Products.

Important: Always conduct trials before combining products in specific mixes and combinations. Compatible with all types of cement and cementitious material.

DISPENSING

Sika® Plastocrete® Plus liquid should be dispensed directly into the mixing water, prior to its addition to the aggregates.
Consumption

Recommended Dosage

0.05 – 0.2% by weight of cement. Actual dosage to be finalised on the basis of site trials.
